Hi guys, Hope your Monday went well!:) On Sunday nights I like prepare for the week ahead. I pack food for lunches, get my gym bag ready, and just mentally prepare for the week. I’ve found that preparing helps me be more productive and make better choices in the upcoming week. Today I got to thinking about how easily my determination is thrown off. Oftentimes, my plans get disrupted, and the bad decision spiral from there. For example, if I have a terrible day of eats, I almost automatically think that it erases all my previous hard work and has control over my future decision. This post is not about food, it’s more about how we should allow ourselves a little grace sometimes. My cousin Mia and I were talking last night about how hard it is to get back into the groove of things once you ‘fall off the bandwagon’. She started a workout calendar and was going strong for 4 days only to allow 1 missed day to mess with her motivation.
I wanted to encourage you all to get back on whatever you’ve given up on lately. Whether it’s Bible reading time, prayer, eating clean, working out, studying, whatever it is- you can do it! I believe in you! Let’s not fret the little slip-ups, and instead on pondering upon them, think about how much better we will feel once we’ve accomplished whatever it is we’ve given up on.
